What’s over Taiwan?

On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. local time, residents of Tainan City, Taiwan witnessed a strange phenomenon that immediately raised speculation about a possible UFO in the cloudy skies above the city. The whole sky looked so beautiful that day. One cloud formation, which is a cloud formation caused from supercooled air in the atmosphere around the clouds, is called a fallstreak cloud formation or hole-punch clouds.
